On the 8th of July we organised our 5th 2015 trackday at Spa-Francorchamps. It was a great event as usual with many beautiful cars, only a few minor incidents and many smiling faces. Dennis Noten made these great photos and you find a link to all his shots from this wonderful day at the bottom of this blog.

Ford was represented in the best way at this trackday. From the UK we saw this delegation at Spa.

Chris Rennell drove this magnificent Escort MK2 on track. The soft suspension made the car lift it's front wheel very high.

His rear axle had to work a lot to get the power on the floor.

Also this Escort Cosworth was beautifully prepared.

The Escort Cosworth remains one of the highlights in the Ford history.

Soon many of the new Mustangs will be seen on the racetracks. In the mean time the older models will keep on driving their laps

Of course Porsche was there in all their forms

GetSpeed performance brought this 997 Cup to work on the set up for the new owner

During the morning session the track stayed dry but the afternoon had plenty of rain.

A GT3 with a nice livery

RSR Spa owns this nice CAyman GT4. This car is a bestseller of the Porsche company.

De Yokohama 996 Cup drove many taxi laps again with Jo Lammers at the wheel

This 991 takes an aggressive line through the La Source hairpin

Between these models there is at least 30 years difference but both perform well on track

Not a common color for this Mercedes, but it really looks good.

Here we see a Mercedes 190 at the Raidillon

The AMG SLS is also a pretty car

We also had some Ginettas on track. Here we see the dangerous wet kerbstones.

Two BMWs reach the braking zone of Les Combes after a long climb

"Crazy" Ivan Vanlaer is the nickname of the GT-R driver, but his machine is fully under control in his hands

Stijn Vandenbergh is not only a talented cyclist but is also fast in his GT86

See you next time!
